Infused with extra virgin olive oil from the finest olives grown at exceptional groves in Victoria’s picturesque Alpine Valley region, each Valanolia bottle contains the nutrition of at least 360 organic olives.
Olives are an increasingly popular ingredient in personal care products as they’re rich in vitamins, antioxidants and the super-ingredient squalene. Squalene occurs naturally in a small number of fish and plant oils (including olive oil) and delivers powerful anti-aging and moisturising benefits.
Our award-winning olive farm
The Valanolia olive farm is one of Australia’s oldest. Established in 1972 by Eberhard Kunze, our groves produce premium extra virgin olive oil that’s consistently awarded for its excellence.
Valanolia olives are one of the most sought-after olive varieties, famed for the exceptionally high-quality olive oil they produce. Originating from the Greek island of Lesbos, Valanolia olives trees require very specific growing conditions and produce fruit with outstanding nutritional content.
After travelling Australia searching for European-quality olive oil, Mr Kunze partnered with Dr Michael Burr OAM, a respected authority on olive growing, to establish our Valanolia groves in Markwood, Victoria. The local region’s fertile soils, pristine water and Mediterranean climate are ideally suited to growing Valanolia trees.
Today, our team continues to innovate and explore new planting and cultivating techniques alongside proven picking and pressing methods to ensure the enduring quality of our products.
